Please follow the instructions below to import your existing MySQL dump backup file of your database:
- Ensure you have created a new MySQL database in your hosting control panel and created new user login for it.
- Login to phpMyAdmin at http://mysqladminuk.prosql.net with the user details you created above and select the correct MySQL server hostname.
- Select the correct database from the dropdown list on the left hand side of phpMyAdmin.
- Click Import from the main menu.
- Browse your computer for the MySQL dump backup under the File To Import field.
- Leave the rest of the form values as the default and click Go.
- Your database backup will import in to the database on our server.
IMPORTANT:
Please note that the tables of the imported database will overwrite any that exist in the database you are importing to. Therefore it is important to double-check that the database you are importing to is correct before proceeding. If uncertain, you should back up the target database before importing a new one into it.
