What is the Spam Experts service and how does it work?

What is SpamExperts?
SpamExperts is an incredibly accurate, powerful and cost-effective anti-spam solution for every email account on your domain that works by securely scanning incoming e-mail via an intelligent central cluster before it reaches your inbox. Our addon SpamExperts service will reduce your incoming spam, viruses, malware and phishing email dramatically.

How easy is is to setup the SpamExperts service?
It is incredibly simple to setup, you simply change your domain names MX records so mail goes through the spam filtering cloud servers before the clean mail is then delivered to your domains normal mail server (this can be Winserve's mail servers or any other external mail server). Our support team will set it all up for you in a few minutes if you want us to.

How accurate is SpamExperts in detecting spam?
The service can prevent up to 99% of the spam addressed to your domain from reaching your inbox. We believe it is very effective without any changes to the default settings. Of course no spam detection is 100% accurate but when spam does sneak through you can train SpamExperts by flagging messages as spam.

Quarantine & Reporting
Comprehensive log-search tool with advanced quarantine options to check the status of any email which was sent to your domain. You can also configure quarantine email reports to be delivered to you daily or weekly if you like. These reports will give you a list of quarantined email and links to deliver, whitelist, train as not spam etc.

Will my email be delayed?
The delay is negligible. Most messages are received within seconds of sending. SpamExperts has multiple servers spread across the world, so geography doesn't really enter in to the picture. The service is fast.

Do I have to pay for each individual email address that I want to protect?
No, when you activate SpamExperts for your domain every email address on your domain can use the service. Great value if you have a lot of email addresses on your domain.

What is archived?
If you purchase the bundle that includes archiving then all inbound email that goes through the SpamExperts filter is archived.

How much archiving space do I get?
The archiving service comes with a large 10GB of disk space for you to archive your email to. You can set expiration dates for archiving in the Spam Panel.
