How to setup Incoming Filtering

To use Incoming Filtering, you need to point the MX Records for the domain to the SpamExperts Hosted Cloud routes.

They should be set as follows:

  • mx.spamexperts.com (Priority 10)
  • fallbackmx.spamexperts.eu (Priority 20)
  • lastmx.spamexperts.net (Priority 30)

No further configuration is necessary.
Email will be routed through the SpamExperts Cloud System initially, Spam filtered out, and the resulting clean emails forwarded on to your destination mail server.

Important Notes:
Please do not configure these MX servers on your domains DNS prior to the service being activated. The installation process we run when your order has been activated by our staff checks your current MX records and uses those existing records to set your destination routes for the incoming email.

If you are unsure of how to edit MX records on your Winserve hosted domains please contact support and we will be happy to configure it for you.
