How to shrink / truncate your MS SQL database log file.

If you receive an error message in your website/application telling you that your MS SQL database is full then you can shrink your MS SQL database in your hosting control panel:

  • Login to your hosting control panel.
  • Click the MS SQL database version your working with under the Databases Files.
  • Click your database name from the list.
  • Click Housekeeping Tools
  • Click Truncate Files
