Enabling SSL on nopCommerce

nopCommerce will work well with SSL / HTTPS if configured correctly.

Once you have a valid SSL certificate installed on your website, please follow the guide below to make nopCommerce work properly with it.

  • Go to Configuration > Stores in the administration of your store. Click edit, and the store details page will open up.
  • Mark the checkbox SSL enabled and then provide the secure URL of your store. Save the changes.
  • This will allow for a secure connection on the cart, login, register, and checkout pages of your website.
  • To activate a secure connection on all website pages, go to Settings > General Settings and scroll down to the security settings. Then mark the checkbox Force SSL for all site pages.
